How To Deal With Iron Tailings

Last Update:2020-05-12 22:11:07

Iron tailing ore is a kind of tailing waste residue with stable fineness modulus, which is produced after purification, grinding and iron ore separation of iron ore concentrate, and conforms to fine sand or ultra-fine sand. According to the research and test, the iron tailing sand is mainly divided into stone powder particles, which belongs to the solid component, which is conducive to the mechanical properties and durability of concrete.

The replacement of river sand with iron tailing sand can not only reduce the adverse effect of rock content fluctuation on the working performance of concrete, but also optimize the particle size distribution of fine aggregate. The fine powder whose particle size is less than 0.15mm is mainly stone powder. The performance of stone powder is different from that of mud powder in river sand, and the external agent adsorption is smaller. The mud content of fine aggregate can be effectively reduced by adding part of iron tailed ore sand.

The equipment and process for processing iron ore tailings slag into sand are the same as those for processing pebbles, granite, limestone and other ores into sand. Jaw crusher, cone crusher and sand making machine, screening machine, feeder and other equipment are used. The slag of large iron ore tailings is crushed to the size of sand, which includes 3.0-2.3 fine sand 2.2-1.7 in coarse sand 3.7-3.1. If you are interested in our company, please contact us!
